The success of 10 Summers Records and it’s roster of talent has always been directly linked to the Black community.   A community that has endured centuries of injustice and inequality; racism and prejudice.  A community that has watched their men and women be murdered and assaulted simply because they are Black.  A community that despite attacks on their mere existence, have provided the soundtrack to the American experience for centuries.  This summer we are making a commitment to help.  We recognize the unique and massive platform that we have and want to be a catalyst for real, impactful change.  From participating in protests across the US to funding small and large local organizations, we are committed to doing our part.  And while we are putting an emphasis on giving back to those in need throughout Summer 2020, the work we are dedicated to doing won’t stop when the Summer ends.  It is our duty to uplift and protect each other and provide opportunities for real change in our communities no matter what the current news cycle is. Below you will find a list of the work we have done and plan to do over the next few weeks as well as resources for anyone looking to make a difference.   We invite all of you to join us and do what you can, with what you have.  There’s no right or wrong way to get involved, so find what’s right for you and act on it.
Stay Safe,
Mustard and the 10 Summers Family
